Rooms and facilities
Myuna Farm has a range of indoor and undercover spaces you can hire for parties and functions.
Please note the following key points and read the rest of this page.
- Access to the function space is provided between 10.00 am to 3.00 pm on the day of your booking.
- Entry fee discounts are given if you opt to pay for all your guests.
- Additional party activities are available.
- All belongings, decorations and rubbish must be removed. Bins and cleaning equipment provided.
Admission for guests
Admission fees are required for all guests over the age of 12 months. You may choose to pay for all your guests or have them pay individually on arrival. Please note The Pavilion function space is a pay all option only, there is no individual payment option for this function space.
On your invitation, please advise your guests whether you are paying for them, or if they are required to pay their own admission fees.
Regardless of which payment option you choose, there are minimum guest numbers for the different function areas.
All party hosts and guests are required to check in with our admission staff on arrival at the farm. Guests will be counted and directed to your function space. It is the party hosts’ responsibility to keep track of guest numbers and ensure that their account is finalised by 2pm on the day of the function. Please note that we are unable to take guest lists.

Decorations
Myuna Farm educates visitors and school students about waste, and we encourage party hosts to think about how much rubbish they create and where it goes. When planning your party please consider the impact your party decorations will have on the environment. Environmentally friendly decoration alternatives include bubbles, paper balloons, bunting, and flags or banners made from re-usable or recyclable materials.
Any decorations that you choose to use must be packed up and removed from the function space at the conclusion of your party, including any strings, blue tac, or sticky tape used to secure them.

Food and catering
You are welcome to bring your own food for your party or function, or source your own catering. Our function spaces have access to gas barbeques (bring your own utensils), and some spaces also include additional facilities such as pie warmers, microwaves, and fridges. Please check the room descriptions for inclusions prior to booking.
All other items including plates, cutlery, candles, matches, tablecloths, decorations and BBQ utensils are not included in your booking.
Any alternative cooking equipment, as well as any external vendor/contractor or service provider hired for your function will need to be discussed with Myuna Farm administration staff (Monday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm).
All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged by a qualified electrician before you are permitted to use it at Myuna Farm.

In accordance with the City of Casey’s policies and Local Laws alcohol is not permitted in open spaces at Myuna Farm. Therefore, while alcohol is permitted inside your function space, it cannot be consumed by guests in any other areas of the farm.
Tractor and pony rides
Tractor and pony rides operate from 11 am – 3 pm daily. Rides are not included in the price of admission and guests are required to queue with other farm visitors for the rides.
Ride tickets can be purchased from the main entrance for $3.50 each. Hosts may opt to have guests purchase their own ride tickets, or purchase ride tickets for their guests. Hosts may request a bundle of ride tickets from admission staff and return left over tickets when finalising payment by 2 pm. They will only be charged for the ride tickets that have been used.

Additional party activities
We have a range of additional party activities you can purchase for you and your guests.
These must be organised and paid for separately prior to your function. Booking well in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment, as there are a limited number of activities run per day over the weekend.

- Excludes weekdays during school holidays and public holidays.
- Guest must provide required allergen information of guests eg. milk, hay or any animals
- Junior farmer program
Recommended age: 4 years and above
Maximum numbers: 20
Let us teach your guests what it's like to be a real farmer. In the junior farmer program, you will partner with one of our experienced farmers to:
- feed the chickens and collect eggs
- feed the animals in the paddocks
- touch the turtles
- milk a goat
- meet and chat to Joey Davis, the cockatoo.
- Animal handling
Recommended age: All ages, targeted towards younger children
Maximum numbers: 20 children
Small animals will be brought to your party area! Participants can touch and interact with a range of animals, including rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, lizards and turtles.
