The Multipurpose Room is located within view of Lakeside Lawn and is the perfect location for occasions.
The large undercover dome provides the option to set your function outdoors and take advantage of the picturesque open-air surroundings.
This area is an ideal space for birthdays, family gatherings and baby showers.
The indoor area is equipped with a kitchenette which includes a bar fridge, domestic sized oven and grill, hot water unit, microwave, sink and spacious preparation area.

Facility Hire Fees
For parties and private functions of a general nature:
- $210.00 - 3 hours hire
- $425.00 - 6 hours hire
- $70.00 for each additional hour
- $15 Casual Public Liability
- $500 security bond, paid via cash or EFTPOS 1 week before your function

Set booking times apply:
- Morning: 07:15 – 13:00 (minimum of 3 hours)
- Afternoon: 14:00 – 18:00 (minimum of 3 hours) 14:00 -21:00 (Daylight saving)
- All day: 07:15 – 18:00 (min of 6 hours) 7:15 – 21:00 (Daylight savings)

Park Rules
As Wilson Botanic Park is a botanic garden, we do not allow:
- alcohol consumption
- vehicle access into the gardens
- erection of marquees or any shade structures
- balloons
- confetti
