Apply for an extension or payment plan

You can apply for an extension or a payment plan if you cannot pay your infringement by the due date.

  • You must apply before the due date.
  • The maximum extension period is 28 days.
  • Only one extension per infringement will be approved.
  • Further costs will be added if you fail to make the arranged payment(s).
  • You can arrange a payment plan with either the City of Casey or Fines Victoria
City of Casey payment plans

Casey payment plans can be extended to a maximum of 10 fortnightly payments.

For example, if your infringement balance is $400, your minimum fortnightly payment will be $40.

You can have separate payment plans if you have multiple infringements.

Payments must be made manually online or at the customer service counter. Direct Debit is not an option.

Fines Victoria payment plans

Alternatively, Fines Victoria can manage your payment plan at no extra cost. Submit your request online to the City of Casey and specify that you want Fines Victoria to manage the payment plan. We will refer it on your behalf.

What happens next

  • We will send you a letter in 10 days advising you of the outcome. If your application is successful, we will send you the payment terms.
