Climate Resilient Casey plan | Climate Resilient Casey 2024-2030 aims to provides a roadmap for a safer, connected, and more resilient Casey, where Council and the community are climate ready and better prepared together. |
Contaminated Land Management Framework | This document outlines the Framework for Managing Contaminated Land and Potentially Contaminated Land in the City of Casey (the “Framework”). The Framework has been prepared to allow City of Casey to undertake an assessment of the potential for land contamination at Council owned land. It is understood that this assessment will be used by City of Casey to compile a database / register of land assessed to be contaminated or potentially contaminated that can be used by Council officers for decision-making. |

Roadside Vegetation Management Plan | The current document has been revised and updated from the existing Mornington Peninsula – Western Port Roadsides Management Plan prepared by Ecology Australia Pty Ltd and Context Pty Ltd in March 1996. |

Casey Significant Tree Strategy incorporating the Significant Tree Register | The objective of this strategy is the protection of identified significant trees, and more particularly the protection of approximately 1000 identified River Red Gum, exotic and other native trees. |
City of Casey Tree Guide | Tree landscapes are highly valued by the City of Casey. There are an estimated 250,000 trees growing in streets, parklands and several hundred thousand on private land across the municipality and Casey is committed to the preservation and expansion of its urban forest, which includes the City’s streets and reserves and those trees on private land. |
Coastal Framework | The Casey Coastal Framework aims to enhance the resilience of the region’s coastal areas to changing climatic conditions. It seeks to provide direction, strategic justification, adaptation recommendations, guide change and inform decision making on how to respond to increasing coastal hazard risks. |
Domestic Wastewater Management Plan 2021 – 2026 | Under the Environment Protection Act 2017, councils in which onsite wastewater management systems, more commonly known as septic systems, are in use are required to develop an onsite (domestic) wastewater management plan. |
Electric Line Clearance Management Plan 2023/24 | The Electric Line Clearance Management Plan demonstrates the City of Casey’s compliance with Energy Safe Victoria’s requirement for the safe management of vegetation near public power lines. |
Emissions Management Plan 2018-22 | Ambitious evidence-based targets in line with a comprehensive investment action program prioritised on economic, environmental and social benefits to ensure benefits are realised by the City of Casey. |
Greening Casey | Greening Casey is a plan for building our climate resilience and creating places people love. |
Integrated Water Management Plan | This document details the City of Casey’s water management vision towards building a Water Efficient City. |
Revegetation Strategy | A long-term municipal strategy aimed at providing a coordinated and strategic approach to revegetation; and the identification of an initial ten sites on public land and ten sites on private land to focus resources on in the short-term. |
