Keep your cat on your property

The Casey Community Local Law 2025 and the Domestic Animals Act 1994 state that cats must be kept within your property.

You must keep your cat on your property to protect both the cat and native wildlife, and to reduce nuisance issues with neighbours. You may be fined if your cat is found off your property.
