Purpose

The City of Casey has prepared a Planning Scheme Amendment (C286case) which will give effect to the proposed Collison Estate Development Contributions Plan (DCP) and help implement the proposed Collison Estate Development Plan (DP) into the Casey Planning Scheme.

Council officers have been working with key stakeholders, including some landowners in Collison Estate, to prepare the draft DP, DCP, and Amendment C286case. The public exhibition of the amendment ran from Friday 17 November 2023 to Thursday 11 January 2024.

The C286case Panel Report is now available here. The Planning Panel Hearing was held from 21 to 24 May 2024. The Panel Report contains the Planning Panel’s findings and recommendations. Council will consider the recommendations and make a decision about how to proceed with the amendment later this year.

The Estate is bounded by Casey Fields Boulevard and Mayfield Road to the west, Linsell Boulevard to the north, Berwick-Cranbourne Road to the south and the rear boundary of properties east of Collison Road.
