Council elections will take place on Saturday, 26 October. We will be entering the pre-election period, known as the Caretaker Period, from Tuesday, 17 September.

A storm is coming to Casey

Melbourne Storm Training Session.

*** TRAINING SESSION CANCELLED ***

After consultation with Melbourne Storm, we have made the unfortunate decision to cancel the open training session and activities scheduled for Monday 31 July at Casey Fields.

Due to high rainfall and cold temperatures throughout the growing season and continuing poor weather over recent months, the rugby league field playing surface has been significantly affected and is currently not at the standard required for elite level training.

We thank everyone who had planned to attend the session and the Melbourne Storm for understanding the situation and we look forward to the open training session returning in 2024.

Rugby league fans rejoice! Melbourne Storm is heading to Casey Fields Rugby League Complex in Cranbourne East for an open training session.

To be held on Monday 31 July from 10.00 am to 11.30 am, fans are invited to come along and support the squad before they head off to Penrith to play the Panthers on Friday 4 August.

City of Casey Director Community Life Angie Peresso said the City of Casey is home to thousands of Storm members.

“Council is thrilled to welcome back the Melbourne Storm to its state-of-the-art facilities at Casey Fields,” she said.

“The open training session will be a great opportunity for the Casey community to watch the Storm train and afterwards meet their favourite players.”
