If your child is ready to start kindergarten in 2024, don’t miss this year’s kindergarten open afternoon on Thursday 3 August from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm.
All kindergartens managed by the City of Casey will be open for families to meet the current teaching team, experience our play-based program with your child and learn more more about sessional kindergarten. Bookings are not required.
Council operates 47 kindergartens across the municipality with more than 300 qualified educators. Our kindergartens offer individual programs, unique to their local environment and community, and draw upon evidence-based practice and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework to deliver high quality programs for children.
Research shows that play-based learning is a powerful way to support a child's learning and development, with two years of kindergarten better than one. Our kindergartens deliver both three and four-year-old kindergarten sessions and all our kindergarten programs are free.
