The siren is sounding on AFL once again and boy are we happy!
Now is a very important time to get behind the City of Casey’s affiliated club, the Melbourne Football Club, as the red and blue prepare for the season to resume.
Casey Fields is the temporary destination for the Dees to train and Council is thrilled to see this state-of-the-art facility being put to such great use.
Last week, the AFL fixture was unveiled, and it was announced that Melbourne will take on Carlton in Round 2 at Marvel Stadium on Saturday 13 June, before heading to the MCG the following week for back-to-back games against Essendon and Geelong.
As the boys continue to prepare, we want the Casey community to get behind our side and back them for a big win against the Blues.
To show your support, we ask that you keep an eye out for our Facebook post on Friday 12 June and post pics of you watching the match at home, decked out in your Melbourne gear, tagging #CaseyDees.
