City of Casey businesses are diverse and progressive; they're ground-breaking wave-making businesses and Council is incredibly proud that they chose our city to call home.
In celebration of these businesses, Council holds the Casey Business Awards each year and applications for the 2024 program are now open.
The high-profile annual awards not only celebrate and showcase the success of local businesses, but also increase opportunities for a business’ growth and partnership, while further developing their reputation for excellence across the wider region.
The program’s winners are also recognised with a cash prize; the business who wins Business of the Year will receive $2,000 and winners of each of the category awards will receive $1,000.
Each year the program welcomes more and more first-time applicants who relish the chance to network and learn previous winners and finalists, receive valuable feedback from industry experts and showcase their business’ success across the region.
Many previous applicants, including those who have taken home awards in past programs, enjoy the ongoing camaraderie and friendly competition that comes along with putting their hat in the ring again. They also find being able to track their progress through the experts’ updated feedback valuable.
Narre Warren based private occupational therapy practice, Recovery in Mind, leveraged winning the 2023 Business of Year to bolster their growing business and really support its growth.
Founder, Bianca Parsons, said “We were able to capitalise on our business winning Business of the Year by forming and strengthening relationships with other organisations, attracting new clients, hiring more employees and enhancing our overall reputation in the City of Casey.”
With this year’s categories updated to be more dynamic and allow businesses to best showcase their core ambitions and values, there has never been a better time to apply.
