If you’re under 18 your parents/guardians must provide their details. They must also give consent and agree to the terms and conditions.
1. All categories 1.1. Entry to the competition is FREE and open to young people who live, study or work in the City of Casey. 1.2. All entries must be submitted with a completed entry form (one form per entry). A parent or guardian’s contact details are required for applicants aged 17 years or under to confirm consent. 1.3. Competitors may submit only one (1) entry per category and may only enter up to two (2) categories. 1.4. Participants entering in the English as an Additional Language (EAL) category must be currently studying EAL in a school or similar setting. 1.5. Entries will be judged by a community judging panel. The judge’s decision is final; no further correspondence will be entered into. 1.6. All work must be original and the work of the person whose name appears on the entry form. Plagiarism (the unauthorized use of someone else’s work) is a serious matter and participants are advised that if they are suspected of copying, their entry will not be considered for this competition. 1.7. Finalist entries and artists may be shown in local newspapers and City of Casey publications, including hard copy, electronic and online formats.
1.8. Entries close at 5.00pm on Monday 21 April 2025 and finalists will be notified via email by Monday 26 May 2025. 1.9. Work will be judged according to year level (or age equivalent) 1.9.1. Junior: Grade 5 and 6 1.9.2. Intermediate: Year 7 to 9 1.9.3. Senior: Year 10 to 12
