Sustainability offers us a chance to take some control over our lifestyles and make healthier choices for our planet and future generations. We all have an important role to play in our collective response to climate change — and the best outcomes for our climate will come from governments, businesses, communities and individuals working together.

| Casey’s Biodiversity Incentive Scheme Grant | The City of Casey’s Biodiversity Incentive Scheme grant supports conservation projects within the community. Applications for the grant open once annually to private landowners and volunteer public land managers. |
| Induction cooktops Try before you buy | The City of Casey is pleased to provide two portable induction cooktop kits to help residents start their home electrification journey. Before installing your own, you can hire a free kit from Connected Libraries branches at Bunjil Place and Cranbourne. |
| Bin it right Food organics and garden organics | Converting food waste into compost is good for the environment, and residents now have the option to put food scraps into their food and garden waste bin or their rubbish bin. Check out our waste guide to learn more about how to handle food and garden waste. |
| Vape recycling | The City of Casey is home to Victoria’s first free vape disposal points. Working in partnership with Ecocycle and Envirostream, residents now have the option to safely dispose of vapes at the following locations:

| Waste disposal directory | We know it can be hard to keep track of where and how to dispose of your household waste – so we created a free online directory to remove the guess work! Search the waste disposal directory anytime to find out how to get rid of waste and unwanted items in Casey. |
