Hilltop Reserve is a place of Aboriginal significance. Follow the signage trail around the reserve to read about this history. This patch of heathy woodland boasts diverse plant species, including Manna Gums (Eucalyptus viminalis) , Cherry Ballart (Exocarpos cupressiformis), wattles and sheoaks. The large old trees provide shelter for a range of birds and possums.
Birds of prey can frequently be seen circling the skies on the hunt for food, Superb Fairy-wrens (Malurus cyaneus) dart for cover between the bushes and snakes can often be seen basking in the sun.
