Casey Kids Carnival is back for 2026!

Casey Kids Carnival is one of our most popular annual events. The day offers free activities for families, including live performers and entertainers. There are rides, interactive games, face painters, art and crafts and live animals. 

The event is well-suited for children aged 12 years and under.

Event and Program

What is the event? 

The Casey Kids Carnival is a free, family fun day out for the community to enjoy. The event showcases local organisations and allows families to interact with stage shows, roving entertainment, rides and workshops

Is the event free?

Yes the event is free entry, all rides and workshops inside are also free to the community. Food can be purchased at our food trucks on the day. 

Do I have to buy a ticket? 

The event is ticketed due to site capacity limitations and patron safety, we ask that everyone reserve a valid ticket prior to the event.

Can I get a ticket at the gate? 

No, all tickets must be reserved prior to the event. Individuals without a ticket will not be granted entry. 

What’s happening at the event? 

The Casey Kids Carnival has a variety of shows and activations available on the day for the community, including:

  • Face Painting
  • Rides
  • Stage shows
  • Roving entertainment
  • Stalls
  • Workshops
  • Playground

Where can I go at the event for information?

If you need assistance or information on the day you can reach out to an Event staff member in an orange hi vis vest or by visiting our Event Admin Centre next to the Face Painting station

Travel and Parking

How do I get to the event?

The Old Cheese Factory will have their paddocks open for parking, entry is on Homestead Road to the right hand side of the venue towards Berwick-Cranbourne Road. Traffic management will be onsite to assist. 

Can I park on Homestead Road?

Parking on Homestead Road will be limited to allow easier movement of traffic on the day, please follow the directions of the traffic controllers. 

Can I walk to the event? 

Yes the event entry does have pedestrian access via the paddocks to the right hand side of the venue.

Is there accessible parking? 

The Casey Kids Carnival has allocated spaces close to the event entrance for accessible parking.

Accessibility

What is the surface of the event? 

The Old Cheese Factory has a mixture of pavement, grass and compacted gravel in the facility. The event entry is via our paddock. 

Will you have a quiet or sensory space?

The Casey Kids Carnival will have a quiet space in our Cheese Factory for those that require it. This space will be facilitated by a dedicated team for the event duration. The gardens surrounding the Cheese Factory will be available as a sensory space.

Do you have accessible toilets?

Yes the Casey Kids Carnival will have accessible toilets in our administration building near the playground and in our rides area. 

Is there a Parent room? 

The accessible toilets in the Administration building are equipped with a change table. A Parent Pod will also be available on the day. Should you need additional services you can ask an event staff member in an Orange Hi Vis vest or come to our Information desk located next to the Face Painting station

Will the stage have an interpreter?

Yes the stages will have an interpreter onstage during the event times.
