2026 kindergarten timetable

The below timetables are not live documents and do not include recent changes or waiting list numbers. All kindergartens have limited vacancies.

Timetables are subject to change due to State and Federal funding and operational requirements of the centre.  This may include the addition, cancelling or merging of groups.

Please refer to the relevant timetable below for session information based on the kindergarten program your child will attend.

If your family qualifies for 'Cohort 1' use the Cohort 1 timetable:

  • 2026 Timetable - Department of Education Kindergarten Cohort 1
  • Department of Education’s Cohort 1 Best Start, Best Life reforms four-year-old Pre-prep kindergarten
  • Cohort 1 families will be eligible for 16-30 hours of kindergarten when they meet one of the following criteria:
    • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander,
    • Children from a refugee or asylum seeker background, or
    • Children who are known to Child Protection
