- Processing expressions of interest and registrations for kindergartens.
- Offering funded sessional kindergarten places for kindergartens that come under the CRES.
- Processing offer acceptances and providing child details to the external provider.
How is an Independently Managed Kindergarten different to a Council Managed Kindergarten?
The timetable, sessions, and daily running of the kindergarten service are developed and managed by the relevant external provider.
Tours and information regarding the kindergarten are managed directly by the external provider and families will need to make direct contact to seek information or a tour.
Orientation sessions and steps to your child starting kindergarten are managed directly by the external provider.
What happens when I accept a kindergarten place at an Independently Managed Kindergarten?
The external provider will contact you directly to advise on the next steps to prepare for your child starting kindergarten. Communication from this point will be direct between the family and the external provider.
