Overview
The City of Casey has prepared a Planning Scheme Amendment to correct errors and update outdated information in the Casey Planning Scheme.
The amendment will:
- correct anomalous Scheme mapping of heritage properties
- correct descriptions of heritage properties in the Heritage Overlay Schedule
- update heritage citations via two new Incorporated Documents
- correct one ordinance typographical error
- correct one Public Conservation and Resource Zone (PCRZ), and one Public Use Zone (PUZ) mapping anomalies
- remove one redundant area covered by the Public Acquisition Overlay (PAO)
The public exhibition of the amendment ran from 3 February 2025 to 17 March 2025. All written submissions have been resolved following public exhibition.
Council resolved to adopt Amendment C291case at its 17 June 2025 Council Meeting with minor post-exhibition changes.
The Minister for Planning will now make the final decision on whether to adopt the Amendment into the Casey Planning Scheme.
