What the amendment does
The amendment seeks to update the Cardinia Creek South Precinct Structure Plan to incorporate land previously identified as the Part 2 investigation area.
The amendment will facilitate the planning and development of this land as part of the broader Cardinia Creek South precinct.
It is important to note that the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) is the planning authority responsible for preparing this planning scheme amendment and leading the public exhibition.
Why is the amendment needed?
When the Cardinia Creek South Precinct Structure Plan was first prepared, this land was identified as a potential location for a Regional Park. As the final location of the park had not been confirmed at that time, the land was identified as an “investigation area.”
Since then, the Regional Park has been located elsewhere. As a result, the Part 2 land is now proposed to be incorporated into the Cardinia Creek South precinct to support future residential development and associated infrastructure.
Where the amendment applies
The amendment applies to land identified as the Cardinia Creek South Part 2 area, located at:
- 95 McCormacks Road, Clyde North
- 125 McCormacks Road, Clyde North
The land is shown as the Part 2 area on the accompanying plan.

- State the reason for the submission.
