- How do I download the app?
You can download the Bin It Right app:
- for iPhone at the Apple App Store
- for Android phones at the Google Play Store
Alternatively, you can find the app by searching “Bin It Right Casey” through your app store.
- How do I add my address?
This app works for addresses in City of Casey only.
When you open the app for the first time, click on ADD LOCATION to add your property (you can add additional locations later if you would like). As you type your address, a list of address options will come up.
If your address does not show up, try searching just your street name, then adding the street number in manually on the next page.
- Why do I need to input my address?
Providing your address gives you information specific to your property, including:
- Bin collection schedule
- Notifications about local service disruptions or delays
- Information about when kerbside bin services impact you
- Personalised and printable 12-month bin calendar for your collection days
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect any additional personal information. For more information, please refer to App Developer’s Privacy Policy.
- Can I add multiple addresses?
You can add a total of 30 different addresses to the Bin It Right app.
To do so, tap your property address on the top of your app and select ‘Add Location’.
Or click the three horizontal lines at the top left to open a menu when you can again find an option to ‘Add Location’.
- How do I use the waste directory?
Use the search bar to find how to dispose of your waste item. For example, if you type in “plastic bags”, you will find it goes into the red-lidded rubbish bin.
You can click on the item to see more information.

- How do I download the 12-month bin calendar?
You can download a personalised 12-month bin calendar by going to the ‘Services’ tab in the app. This can be printed on a single A4 sheet of paper.
