Reducing waste saves money, resources, energy, and water, helping to protect our planet’s resources. It also reduces the strain on landfills, which are expensive to manage and can lead to problems like air pollution and water contamination.
Buying responsibly helps reduce the waste we send to landfills and creates less demand for raw materials. We can do this by buying less or choosing secondhand and being mindful of the packaging on the products we purchase.
