Casey’s commercial and industrial sectors account for 26 per cent of Casey’s greenhouse gas emissions. These initiatives are designed to support businesses of all sizes and are a key part of our commitment to reaching net zero emissions by 2040.
Solar Savers
The City of Casey has partnered with Solar Savers to help local businesses install rooftop solar safely, efficiently and affordably.
They can provide your business with free expert advice on the right panels for you as well as available rebates and connect you with trusted installers. Plus, it’s easy to get started with an obligation-free quote.

Energy Efficiency Assessment Kits
Borrow an Energy Efficiency Assessment Kit from the City of Casey to help find draughts, air leaks and inefficient heating or cooling systems that could be driving up your energy costs.
Each kit contains a Power-Mate, Thermal Imaging Camera and a Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor.

Business Energy Savers
Through this program, local businesses can replace outdated lights and appliances with energy-efficient options, backed by government subsidies through the Victorian Energy Upgrades program. You’ll also receive free expert advice on how to cut energy use and get connected to trusted, accredited suppliers who handle the upgrades and paperwork for you.

Business Renewables Buying Group
Casey businesses using over 500 MWh of electricity per year (roughly $100,000 in energy costs) can join the Business Renewable Buying Group, a program run by the City of Yarra on behalf of participating Councils.
This initiative gives large businesses the chance to switch to 100% renewable energy and access competitive rates through a group power purchase agreement.

Victorian Energy Upgrade Program
This program has already helped nearly 2,500 local businesses upgrade to more energy-efficient systems, such as lighting, heating and cooling, energy-efficient appliances and hot water units and shower heads.
