We recommend you contact our Environmental Health Team before you apply to notify your class 4 food business. They can give you advice and recommendations that will assist you in making your application.
Notification checklist
To notify Council that you would like to open and run a class 4 food business, you:
- must not be a class 1, 2, 3A or 3 food business
You can check the classification of your proposed food business using the food premises class list on the Department of Health’s website.
How to apply
To apply to notify Council of your new class 4 food business, please complete the Notification of a Food Premises form.
Submit your application
Submit your application form:
- via email to caseycc@casey.vic.gov.au.
- via post
- in person at one of our customer service centres
What happens next
- We will assess your application.
- If the application meets the requirements, we will process the notification within 5 working days.
