In accordance with Chapter 3, Part B Section 23 of Council’s Governance Rules, the Chair of Administrators, Noelene Duff PSM has called an unscheduled meeting of the Council of the City of Casey to be held in the Function Centre, Bunjil Place, Narre Warren at 4.00pm on Tuesday, 12 July 2022.
The business to be transacted at the meeting includes:
- Declaration of the rates and charges for 2022/23 including general rates, municipal charges, service rates and service charges;
- The rate to apply to cultural and recreational lands in the municipal district;
- The criteria on which the waste service charge is declared;
- The interest rate to apply to Special Rates & Charges Schemes;
- The dates for payment of rates instalments; and
- The interest rate to apply to overdue amounts.
As per section 21.3.2 of the City of Casey’s Governance Rules, the items to be considered at the Special Council Meeting are of a time sensitive nature.
