PROPOSED ROAD DISCONTINUANCE
PUBLIC NOTICE INVITING SUBMISSIONS UNDER SECTION 223
Casey City Council (Council) acting under Clause 3 of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) proposes to discontinue part of the road known as Glen Vista Drive and West Vista Place, Narre Warren North, being part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 104447 & 10490 folio 910 & 266 shown hatched on the plans below (Road) and sell the Road to the adjoining landowners.

Any person may make a submission on the proposal. Any person wishing to make a submission must do so in writing by 11 January 2019. All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or its committee established by Council for this purpose) or represented by a person acting on his or her behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
Following consideration of submissions, Council may resolve not to discontinue the Road or to discontinue the Road and either sell the Road to the adjoining owners or transfer the Road to itself.
