Our City Presentation Department has been making the most of the downtime at Casey ARC and Casey RACE, completing several improvements to the centres so that they are ready for the community as soon as they can open again.
At Casey RACE, we have installed new balustrade and stairs leading to the slide tower and have resurfaced the stairs and balcony. We have installed 16 new fans replacing one large fan in the pool hall. This will cause more fresh air to circulate and create significant energy savings for the facility. We have also completed painting works to the main pool hall and office areas.
At Casey ARC, we’ve painted the main pool hall and office areas, we are replacing three sand filters in the warm water pool and are on track to finish the major toilet and change room refurbishments by the end of next week.
We look forward to welcoming the community back to the centres as soon as it is safe to do so.
