Large hall available for regular hire and casual bookings.

Hallam Recreation Reserve Hall offers a large hall, studio and a small community meeting room available for hire.

This facility is ideally suited to support the delivery of a variety of programs, activities and events, including but not limited to:

  • Health and wellbeing programs
  • Indoor sport and fitness programs
  • Family & Children’s programs and activities
  • Dance groups
  • Education and training sessions
  • Community gatherings, meetings and celebrations

Hire

Hireable hours: Monday – Sunday (7:30 am –  12 midnight).

Please fill out the relevant form, allowing 14 working days for processing.

Casual hire: if you want to make a one-off booking, such as a training day or a birthday party.

Regular hire: if you want to make a regular, ongoing booking with multiple dates. For example, a weekly yoga group.

Noise restrictions 

Due to recent ongoing noise issues and complaints from local residents near Hallam Recreation Reserve Hall, we have had to put the following measure in place for all future bookings.

All music & loud noise is to be completely turned off in line with the below. Failure to do this will result in loss of bond

  • By 10pm (Sunday – Thursday)
  • By 11pm (Friday – Saturday)
  • By 11pm (day before a Public Holiday 

Security charges

Security will be charged for the final 4 hours of your hire if you choose to:

  • Hire past 10pm (Sunday – Thursday)
  • Hire past 11pm (Friday – Saturday)
  • Hire past 11pm (day before a Public Holiday)

Any event considered high risk may also be charged for security from the start of the event to the end of the hire time.

All events will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. After completing the application form, you will be contacted if security is required.

Reminder: All set up, pack up, and cleaning is required to be completed by the hirer
within the hired time.

Party Safe Registration

Party Safe Registration - you will need to provide proof of registration if alcohol is present at event.

Bond

Bonds are charged per centre and are in place to cover costs associated with damage to the facility caused by the hirer and/or hirer’s not returning keys/access cards.  

Bonds are fully refundable at the conclusion of the hire term provided all terms and conditions of hire are met.

There is limited storage available on-site for regular hirers. Requests for on-site storage will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
