Flora Australis

A guided walking tour exploring the Gondwanan origins and evolution of Australian flora

Come and discover together! Because Australia is such an ancient continent, our plants have a long and fascinating history that has resulted in a unique and diverse flora.

The Flora Australis walking tour will take us on a journey through deep time across our fascinating country as we discover the Gondwanan origins and evolution of our remarkable flora. Along our way we will discover how our plants have adapted to our soils, climates and of course fire. We begin at the Lilypad Bridge and pass through the Gondwana, Weird and Wonderful and Arid Gardens.
