Celebrate the Summer of Tennis in Casey

Berwick Tennis Club

This summer, the City of Casey is inviting residents to serve up some fun and fitness at their local tennis clubs as part of the Summer of Tennis – a free initiative designed to get the community active, social and inspired through playing tennis.

Until 28 February, tennis clubs across Casey including Hampton Park, Hallam, Harkaway, Tooradin, Berwick, Devon Meadows and Doveton will open their courts for a range of free programs, designed to welcome everyone – from first time players to seasoned enthusiast.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen says the Summer of Tennis is a great opportunity for residents to get out, be social, try something new and all for free.

“Whether you’ve played before or never held a racquet, this initiative is all about giving tennis a go.  Being physically active is so important for people of all ages and participating in sport is a great way to stay healthy while connecting with friends, family and your community.  Who knows, you might discover a passion you never knew you had!”

Residents can get involved through a variety of fun and inclusive programs such as:

-   #CaseyGirlsCan Tennis – empowering women and girls to give it go.
-    Cardio Tennis – a fast paced, fitness-focused program combining cardio workouts with the fun of tennis.
-    Dads & Kids Tennis – perfect for families to connect and make memories on the court.

Spots are filling fast! Residents can book online via the City of Casey general trybooking page. Visit a local club and experience tennis in a friendly and supportive environment.

So grab and friend or go solo, pick up a racquet and make the most of Casey’s fantastic local tennis clubs this summer.
