Mental Health First Aid Training Course 2026

This two-day course will teach participants how to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems so they can confidently respond.

Council is hosting numerous two-day Mental Health First Aid Training Course for community members in 2026. The course, which will be facilitated by South Eastern Volunteers and Mental Health First Aid Australia, will teach participants how to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems so they can confidently respond.    

Course dates and locations:

  • 17 and 18 February | Brentwood Park Neighbourhood House, Berwick
  • 11 and 12 March | Bunjil Place, Narre Warren *this session is aimed at people who work or volunteer with older people
  • 27 April and 4 May | Online
  • 12 and 13 May | Blind Bight Community Centre, Blind Bight

Participants must be 18 years and over and comfortable communicating in English. 

Cost: $30.00 per person
