The event will span from 28 June to 7 July 2024, with daily sessions between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm. There will also be two special evening events: the Twilight Dino Walk on June 29, and movie night on Saturday 6 July.

Twilight Dino Walk

As darkness descends upon the park, families are invited to embark on a mesmerising journey through a prehistoric wonderland. Highlights of the evening include a twilight walk through ancient landscapes, dino-themed crafts, live music, interactive dinosaur encounters, and the thrilling ‘Floor is Lava’ challenge. Food trucks will also be on hand to satisfy appetites of Jurassic proportions.

Guests can cozy up with blankets and picnic baskets while enjoying a screening of Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Lawn games and delicious fare from food trucks will ensure a memorable night for all.

City of Casey Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff PSM said that throughout the event, visitors can expect to encounter a diverse array of prehistoric lizards, ranging from towering giants to small dinosaurs perfect for children to interact with.

“Wilson Botanic Park is a premier destination for nature enthusiasts, offering a stunning blend of botanical beauty and immersive experiences for visitors of all ages. Located in Berwick, the park is renowned for its family-friendly events, and Dino Safari promises to be one of the most popular yet,” Ms Duff said.
