No longer a regular driver and would like to find out more about what transport options are available? Registrations are now open for the City of Casey’s Wiser Walker education program.
Facilitated by Access Health and Community, the course aims to support people aged 55 years and over to travel confidently and safely.
The course will cover:
- Getting around without a car.
- Safe use of public transport and using a myki card.
- Tips for taxi use.
- Accessible transport and support services.
- Travel planning and discounted travel passes.
- Being a safe pedestrian.
Course participants must complete all three sessions — two weeks in the classroom and one week out in the community accessing public transport with the group.
