2024 AFLW season: Dees return to Casey Fields

aflw 2024

Attention all Demons fans! AFLW is coming to Casey Fields, with the Melbourne Football Club (MFC) returning to their home ground for games in September and October.

The Dees, who will be lead for the second time by Captain Kate Hore and Vice-captain Tyla Hanks, will play three games at Casey Fields:

  • 11:05 am, Saturday 7 September, MFC v Brisbane Lions
  • 1:05 pm, Sunday 15 September, MFC v North Melbourne
  • 5:05 pm, Saturday 19 October, MFC v Richmond

Before Melbourne’s first AFLW game of the season against Geelong on Saturday 31 August, the Dees will play two practice matches — the first against Carlton on Friday 9 August and the second against Port Adelaide on Sunday 18 August.

Council and the MFC share a vision for a happy, healthy and active community. This partnership has been pivotal in engaging Casey’s diverse and rapidly growing community in sport and physical activity, either as spectators or participants, from Casey Fields to the MCG. Being based at Casey’s premier sporting facility, Casey Fields, has given the Club a strong presence in Casey and attracted elite level football to the municipality.

Show your Demon Spirit and come and cheer on the red and the blue. Tickets for the 2024 NAB AFLW season will be released shortly and will be available for purchase via Ticketmaster. Dees fans are encouraged to sign up as an AFLW member for access to all Melbourne games. Learn more about AFLW membership here.
