This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, Bridging Now to Next, is a call for all Australians to reflect on our shared history and work towards stronger connections.
Join us in the Bunjil Place Plaza for a free community event celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. The event will include:
- A Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
- A Flag Raising Ceremony at 4:45 pm.
- Live music by Charlie Needs Braces - enjoy an energetic and engaging musical performance.
- Storytime at Bunjil Place Library at 5:00 pm. Places are limited. Bookings are required via the Connected Libraries website.

- A variety of hands-on cultural activities - get creative and make something to take home as a reminder of the meaningful evening.
