Greening Christmas - making Christmas reusables

Greening Christmas - making Christmas reusables

Join us for a day of sewing, cutting out and eating!
Let's reduce the waste for Christmas celebrations, by making our own reusable items. If you can sew, great! If you can't, also great! This will be a team effort to create all sorts of Christmas reusables for everyone - we'll be tackling:
- Bunting
- Gift bags/fabric wrapping paper
- Tinsel
- Napkins
- Decorations and more!

Some Christmas fabric will be provided if you do not have any, but if you are wanting anything specific, go check your local Spotlight store, there are still some Christmas Fabrics "reduced to clear". Note you will want 5-10 metres (depending on the number and size of gift bags you want to make).

Those that have a sewing machine/overlocker are welcome to BYO, otherwise there will be 2 overlockers and 3-4 sewing machines onsite. Same with scissors - BYO (LABELLED!) or use some of ours.

Please bring a plate to share, a light lunch and tea/coffee will be provided.
